West Brom: No plans to sell Odemwingie
West Brom chairman Jeremy Pearce has insisted that the club will not be forced into a cheap sale of Peter Odemwingie.
The striker is widely expected to leave the club following a season of unrest, but Pearce is adamant the Premier League club will not part company with him unless their criteria are met.
Odemwingie started just 13 Premier League games last season compared to 25 the year before and also halved his goal tally in the English top flight from 2011/12 to five.
The wantaway forward caused a great deal of controversy in the January transfer window when he effectively tried to initiate his own move to QPR, only for it to fall through.
"We have a player who is under contract until th

Plans that will see the areas surrounding Liverpool's Anfield home regenerated have been revealed.
A 260 million pound collaboration between the Merseyside club, Liverpool City Council and Your Housing Group will pave the way for an expansion of the famous stadium and revitalise its surroundings.
Around 300 houses in the area will be demolished, though a further 550 are set to be refurbished as part of a push to improve the area.
Nearby Stanley Park, which had been the proposed site of a new stadium for Liverpool prior to those plans being abandoned due to cost issues, will also be renovated.
The regeneration scheme does not explicitly involve the expansion of Anfield, but will allow the mooted

Kendall tips Martinez to succeed at Everton
Former Everton manager Howard Kendall believes Roberto Martinez is the right man to lead the club to future success.
Kendall oversaw a period of success for the Merseyside club during the 1980s, including lifting the top-flight title in 1985 and 1987.
And the 67-year-old is confident the newly appointed Spaniard can emulate the success he had at Goodison Park, and guide the team to honours.
"I think he will do an excellent job," Kendall told the club's official website.
"The job he did at Wigan, keeping them in the league for so long, and the attractive way he plays football, I'm sure the fans will like that. He's (also coming here) on the back of an FA Cup win.

Cruyff: Barca should sell Messi after signing Neymar
Barcelona legend Johan Cruyff has suggested that the Spanish club should sell Lionel Messi following the acquisition of Neymar.
The Catalan club recently paid a reported €57 million in order to bring the Brazilian star, who is currently representing his country at the FIFA Confederations Cup, to the Camp Nou from Santos.
And Cruyff, who won a string of titles as both a player and manager with Barca, believes pairing Neymar with four-time Ballon d'Or winner Messi will not be easy.
"With Neymar on board, I would have planned for the possibility of selling Messi, and some would agree with that, others not," he told Marca.
"You are talking about a team, its players, the things around it. There are too many things at stake. That’s why it’s so diffic
