Draxler dreaming of Premier League move

Julian Draxler has admitted a move to the Premier League or La Liga would by a dream come true for him, despite committing his future to Schalke.
The 19-year-old signed a new five-year contract with the Bundesliga club in May but with some of Europe's top clubs reportedly chasing his signature he has revealed he would find it hard to turn down a move.

Schalke finished 4th in the league last season, meaning they will be involved in the UEFA Champions League again, a competition Draxler impressed in as they won their group only to lose to Galatasaray in the Round of 16.

The Germany international made 36 appearances in total for Jens Keller's side, scoring 11 goals, and they moved quickly to tie him down to the club. However he has admitted if reported interest from Manchester United and Chelsea were to be true he would be interested in a move.

"Which boy doesn't dream about playing for Real, Barca, Chelsea or Manchester United? That's nothing to be ashamed of," he told Sport1.

Draxler is expected to form part of Joachim Loew's World Cup squad for Brazil 2014, something that is potentially only going to generate more interest in him.

However his agent, Roger Wittman, revealed that although he does have a minimum fee release clause only a club triggering that figure would even make the midfielder consider leaving.

"The player costs 45.5 million (euros), and he has to agree," he told Bild.

"These are the conditions of the transfer."
