Premier League: QPR 0:2 Stoke City
Stoke City all but consigned QPR to Premier League relegation after battling to a hard-earned 2-0 win at Loftus Road on Saturday.
Goals from Peter Crouch and Jonathan Walters proved the difference in an uninspiring encounter between the relegation-threatened sides.
The result leaves QPR 10 points from safety with only four matches remaining, while Stoke climb to 15th place in the table and six points clear of the drop zone.
A breathless start to the game saw both sides attack with intent yet it was the recalled pair of Cameron Jerome and Crouch who were the protagonists.

Premier League: West Ham 2:0 Wigan
West Ham moved into the top half of the Premier League table and compounded Wigan's woes with a 2-0 victory at Upton Park on Saturday.
Goals in either half to Matt Jarvis and Kevin Nolan proved the difference as the hosts held off a strong second-half performance from Wigan to earn victory.
The result leaves Wigan in 18th place, still three points from safety and with a real challenge to maintain their top-flight status.
Sam Allardyce's men were struggling to deal with Wigan's fluid attacks early on, but after Antolin Alcaraz had a tame first shot of the match the hosts eventually fashioned a chance of their own when James Collins' glanced header was met by Nolan, who cou

Arsenal battled to a 1-0 win at Fulham to move back up into third in the English Premier League on Saturday.
After Steve Sidwell's early red card, Arsene Wenger's men struggled at a sun-bathed Craven Cottage but secured the win thanks to Per Mertesacker's first-half effort.
Olivier Giroud was also given his marching orders late on.
Arsenal jump above Chelsea, who have two games in hand, and into third as Fulham slipped to 11th on the table.
The visitors dominated possession early on and Fulham's frustration showed when Sidwell saw red on 12 minutes for an over-the-ball challenge on Mikel Arteta.

Premier League: West Brom 1:1 Newcastle
West Brom fought back from a goal down to take a share of the spoils in an entertaining 1-1 draw with Newcastle United on Saturday.
Newcastle responded well to last week's crushing defeat at home to local rivals Sunderland by taking an early lead with a header from Yoan Gouffran after a dominant first-half display.
Yet a resurgent West Brom roared their way back into the game with an equaliser from Billy Jones just after the hour mark which was enough to warrant them a point in front of their home fans at the Hawthorns.
The visitors started well and took the lead inside the opening 10 minutes with their first attempt. A fine passing move allowed Papiss Cisse the chance to

Premier League: Swansea City 0:0 Southampton
Southampton added a point to their late surge for a top-half finish in the Premier League with a scoreless draw at Swansea on Saturday.
The hosts started well but failed to create any clear-cut chances, before Southampton came back into the game and tested Michel Vorm on a number of occasions, as well as having a goal disallowed, in a largely uninspiring first half.
The second period was much the same as neither side really tested the opposition's goalkeeper - though Nathan Dyer did see an effort blocked off the line.
Swansea dominated the opening 15 minutes as they looked comfortable and relaxed in possession.

Donovan talks up Galaxy MLS form
LA Galaxy forward Landon Donovan believes he is close to returning to his best form ahead of Sunday's clash with Sporting Kansas City.
Donovan made his first MLS start of the campaign against FC Dallas at the weekend as the Galaxy's unbeaten start to the season came to an end with a 1-0 loss. The United States international took a self-imposed sabbatical at the end of last season, relinquishing the Galaxy captaincy to Robbie Keane for the 2013 campaign. "Last week was really good for me personally," Donovan said. "This week has been a good week of training and my hope is that this is the week where it all comes together. "I am a lot more comfortable and confident. My touch is back naturally, so I'm not focusing on it anymore so I can focus on other things on the field. "That's when I'm at my best so hopefully this week

Roura: La Liga the top priority
Barcelona assistant Jordi Roura says winning the La Liga title is the main priority this season, not the Champions League.
Barca have effectively wrapped up a fourth league title in five years, holding a 13-point lead over Real Madrid at the top of the table.
And despite Tuesday's Champions League semi-final first leg with Bayern Munich on the horizon, the 45-year-old assistant coach says that the league takes precedence.
"For us the league is the most important tournament. If we win the league, and only the league, I think we have to be very happy with the season we've had," Roura told reporters, before Saturday's game against Levante at Camp Nou.

Van Bommel: Bayern, Barca favourites
PSV Eindhoven midfielder Mark van Bommel believes Barcelona or Bayern Munich will win this season's Champions League.
The 35-year-old has enjoyed spells with both clubs during his career, conquering Europe with Barcelona in 2006.
He believes that, despite the quality Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund possess, the other two are the strongest out of the four sides.
"Many are saying that Bayern are slight favourites, but I see things differently. The team that Lionel Messi plays for is never an outsider, and both teams are equally strong," van Bommel told El Mundo Deportivo.
"Bayern Munich and Barcelona are the two best teams in Europe and I am sure that the winner of this tie will win the Champions League."
When asked which side he wanted to progress from their semi-final, van
