Chicharito should leave Man Utd if playing time remains sporadic

The Mexican great believes that Javier Hernandez would be better served at a club where he can receive more regular playing time leading into next summer's World Cup.
Former Mexico striker Luis "Matador" Hernandez stated Monday that, in his opinion, current El Tri striker Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez should look for another club if he isn’t going to get regular playing time with Manchester United.

"I would recommend that, if he isn’t given chances to play at Manchester United, he looks for another competitive team in Europe that can give him the regularity he needs to be in optimum condition for the Brazil World Cup,” the 1998 World Cup veteran said in an interview with Spanish daily Marca.

Hernandez warned that if Chicharito isn’t getting regular playing time, he’ll arrive with the national team like he did for the game against Honduras, when cramps forced him to be substituted and Mexico subsequently gave up a two-goal lead to settle for a draw.

Rumors have swirled over Chicharito’s future in the British press recently, with the Daily Mail and others suggesting that the Premier League leaders are set to offload the Mexican as a makeweight in a deal to bring Colombian Radamel Falcao to the club.

But manager Sir Alex Ferguson laughed off the rumors of Falcao heading to Manchester over the weekend.

"Do you honestly believe that?” Ferguson told the Manchester United website. "Really? It does amaze me that you come up with that one.”

The veteran coach has also been consistent in stating that he does not want Chicharito to leave the club.
