Spurs will attack Basel, says Sigurdsson
Tottenham midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson believes they will have to attack from the start in their Europa League quarter-final tie with Basel.
The Iceland international played a crucial role in the first-leg match-up, striking the equalising goal as Spurs came from two goals down to level the scores.
However, anything less than victory in Switzerland will send Spurs out of the competition, but after surviving a scare in the first leg Sigurdsson is eager to book a place in the semi-finals.
"We need to go out there and win the game," the 23-year-old told the club's official website.
"We managed to get back into the tie by drawing the game and now it's down to us.
"We know what we've got to do. We've got to attack them and win the game, whether that's in the first minute or the last. The important thing is to be in the hat for the next round."
