Agger urges Eriksen to join Liverpool
Liverpool defender Daniel Agger has urged his fellow Denmark international Christian Eriksen to join the Merseyside club.
The 21-year-old has been strongly linked with a move away from the Amsterdam Arena, with Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund touted as potential suitors.
And, having captained the playmaker at international level, Agger believes Eriksen would fit perfectly with Brendan Rodgers' passing philosophy.
"We want to play attacking football with the ball on the ground and that is exactly what Christian Eriksen is all about. That is the kind of player we need," he told Danish newspaper Jyllands-Posten.

Roma condemn racist fans
Roma have released a statement condemning racism after their fans were alleged to have abused Milan striker Mario Balotelli on Sunday. Roma's travelling supporters were reportedly singing racist chants at Balotelli during the goalless Serie A draw between the two sides at San Siro.
The ground announcer warned the crowd to stop the abuse in the first half, or the game would be suspended, and at least temporarily, referee Gianluca Rocchi followed through on the warning in the second period.

Southampton deserve to be safe
Jason Puncheon believes Southampton deserve their spot in the Premier League after securing safety with a 1-1 draw at Sunderland on Sunday.
The winger struck for Mauricio Pochettino's side to secure a 1-1 draw at the Stadium of Light, which guarantees their survival by virtue of the fact Wigan and Aston Villa face each other on the last day of the season.
"It's a massive feeling knowing that it's more or less there," Puncheon told The Daily Echo.
"For the season we've had and the way we've gone about it it's even better, because we deserve it, as a group of players and as a football club.

QPR midfielder Esteban Granero has admitted he may leave the club following their relegation from the Premier League.
The 25-year-old moved to Loftus Road from Real Madrid in August and has made 18 league appearances as Harry Redknapp's men failed to retain their top-flight status.
With the prospect of a campaign in the English Championship now looming, the Spaniard says he will need to discuss his future.
"Will I stay at QPR? Again it will be a summer of little stability. We will have to wait for the season to end and to talk to the club. We will see what is best for everyone," he told As.
