Dynamo has for the umpteenth time this season disappointed as a guest in the first game against Osnabruck. In the league they were weak away but this was a match against 3. Liga team and was rightly expected more. They failed to score, which was their first objective in order to make their job easier in the rematch, and couldn’t save their own net. At the end they can be even happy with the minimal loss because the goalie Kirsten defended the penalty half an hour before the end of the match. What can encourage them on the eve of the rematch is number of good games played recently in front of their fans, where they have four consecutive victories in the Championship and in total had won eight solid times. Coach Pacult had took on the pitch a fully expected team in the first game except for suspended Schuppan on the left flank, and injured Thoelke, Kitambala and Pote. In the early stages of the match due to a head injury the game left striker Muller, which certainly affected Dynamo’s game. The question is whether Muller will be fully recovered for this rematch, while it is quite certain that Schuppan returns in the starting line-up and therefore Subasic again moves to the bench.

And Osnabruck played the first game in accordance what it showed at home during the championships. They were the second most successful home team of the league and it could be easily predicted that they have a good chance of success. They won without receiving a goal, which means that they achieved the two set goals, however, they are aware that nothing is over. And it could have been almost a draw, if Staffeldt realized the penalty in the 58th minute of the match. With 2-0 they would have a huge advantage but now have to play another very good match if they want to play the next season in popular 2nd. With new coach Ukrow some progress can be seen in the game, although he hasn’t made many changes in the team. Before the first match, stopper Beermann was replaced in the last moment by Neumann, but now Beermann should return to the team, making then the same setup as it played in the final stages of the regular season.
