Eric Abidal is frustrated by Barcelona stalling on making a decision over his future at Camp Nou, the Frenchman's agent has claimed.
The 33-year-old returned to first-team action in April following a liver transplant, and has made four La Liga appearances so far this season.
But the Frenchman has not yet been offered a new contract with his current deal set to expire in the off-season.
"Abidal is starting to get disillusioned with how long it takes for Barcelona to make a decision about his future," David Venditelli told RAC1.
"It is not so much whether Barcelona want to continue with him or not, but the uncertainty is getting increasingly difficult for Eric.
"Barcelona are under no obligation to offer him a new deal."
While Abidal and fellow defender Carlos Puyol continue individual training programmes, the Catalan side were boosted by Javier Mascherano's return to training on Wednesday.
The Argentina international was injured in the UEFA Champions League quarter-final clash with Paris Saint-Germain on April 2, and has spent the past five weeks recovering from knee ligament damage.
