Borussia had already lost both domestic trophies and this is clearly a failure after last season it won the double crown, however, the season is not a complete failure. They mend it all with games in the Champions League, where they quite deservedly reached the finals and now all their attention is focused on that match. The remaining three matches in the championship are almost totally irrelevant, although this one against the team with which they will meet in the said finals always brings a dose of uncertainty. It is definite that in Dortmund wish to break a series of three consecutive matches without a victory with one against Bayern Munich, but would be happier if this happens at Wembley. Certainly, the coach Klopp will make a number of changes in the team, although it is difficult to say exactly who will rest and who will not. What is sure is that M. Gotze is not going to play, which is perhaps better after it was announced that this midfielder at the end of the season moves to Bayern. Lewandowski, Blaszczykowski, Piszczek, Subotic and Bender could get a well-deserved break, although it is not excluded that it all ends up differently.

Bayern in this match enters even more relaxed, but although more tired, because it played the semi-final match one day after Borussia. Bavarians have already put one more trophy in the cabinet in the most convincing way in the history of Bundesliga, as they have set a number of records this season. This is precisely the biggest motivation because they want to keep this season registered as something that will be difficult to replicate, and will try to win in remaining three rounds with highest scores possible. They must also think about the fact that they expect two more finals, in the Cup against Stuttgart in Berlin, and the more important one in London against Borussia. They have already proven that can win and with a completely changed team, while a story for itself is how in two matches have completely shattered Barcelona, preventing them, same as Juventus in the quarter-finals, to score as single goal in two games. Coach Heynckes will surely make several changes, and perhaps he even change a complete team but it doesn’t mean that Bayern will be much weaker.
