After elimination from the Europa League, Borussia’s stringed three matches without a defeat in the championship, and it is interesting that in both matches at home drew while the away one in Frankfurt won. At all three matches have scored exactly one goal. In the two draws, first against the namesake from Dortmund and another one against Werder in the last round, results were 1-1, and in Frankfurt they won with 1-0. All three games were very similar and quite equal, as the rest of eight league matches in the spring part of the season. So Borussia is the league record holder with 11 draws this season, and with the goal difference of only minus one. Talking about the team, the coach Favre is the only coach in the Bundesliga who at this point doesn’t have any injured or suspended player, so he has sweat worries about which players will start the match. The dilemma is in fact only one, should in the midfield G. Xhaka get an advantage over Marx?

After elimination from the Europa League, Hanover was not so successful. They immediately after the rematch against Anzhija, had outclassed HSV with even 5-1, but then have played two weak matches and won only one point. In Dortmund even played well against Borussia, eventually losing with 3-1, just to draw against Eintracht at home 0-0. It was just the third game this season in which they failed to score a goal and first at home with the least popular result. The third most efficient attack of the league has failed, regardless that the top scorer of the team M. Diouf has recovered and played. On the other hand, the first assistant Huszti was absent and Abdellaou played very poorly. Otherwise, injuries are a major problem for the coach Slomka who now has no options for rotation of players. For this match he will probably make no changes unless Rausch eventually replaces Pander, or if he doesn’t find a position for Schlaudraff, which would send Abdellaoue to the bench and consequently the formation would be slightly more closed.
