Southampton have the chance to put more distance between themselves and the Premier League relegation zone when they travel to Norwich on Saturday.
Mauricio Pochettino's Saints are currently two places and three points clear of the bottom three and will be out to widen that gap with a result at Carrow Road.
But Chris Hughton's men will also be keen to bag the three points as they look to secure their top-flight status for another season, with the Canaries currently eight points short of the 40-point mark generally thought to be the safety barrier.
Norwich have largely steered clear of the relegation places this season, with eight points currently keeping them out of trouble, and know a win at Carrow Road would give them some security.
Both sides enter the encounter on the back of defeats, with Southampton losing 2-1 at home to struggling QPR last weekend following a 4-2 loss at Newcastle the week before, leaving the South Coast club with only one win from their last seven league games.
Norwich suffered a 4-0 thumping at the hands of Manchester United at Old Trafford last Saturday and will be looking to get back on track on home turf.
The two sides have already met once this season at St Mary's back in November, when Robert Snodgrass' equaliser cancelled out Rickie Lambert's strike to seal a 1-1 draw.
Ahead of that encounter they had not met since the Saints triumphed 2-0 at Carrow Road in 2010, when both clubs were plying their trade in League One.
Goals have flowed in past encounters between the two clubs, with both sides having scored in their last six meetings in the top-flight, during which a total of 27 goals were netted - an average of 4.5 per game.
But Norwich's scoring form has been less prolific of late, with the Canaries failing to find the back of the net in five of their last seven in the league.
Sky's Prediction : Norwich - Southampton : 1 [6/10]
