Arsenal will be without defender Bacary Sagna (knee) for the north London derby. Midfielder Abou Diaby is rated as 50/50 with a calf problem. Clint Dempsey, Jermain Defoe and Tom Huddlestone all remain doubts for the clash, so Gareth Bale could retain his central berth behind Emmanuel Adebayor.
