Heynckes' men appear to be running away with the domestic league crown, holding a 15-point advantage over second-placed Borussia Dortmund.

Bayern look set to make the Champions League quarter-finals after a 3-1 win at Arsenal in the first leg of their round-of-16 tie.

Speaking ahead of his side's clash against Werder Bremen on Saturday, Heynckes said his players were good enough to switch their attentions back to the Bundesliga.

"There were times when Bayern-Werder was a very special Bundesliga match," Heynckes said.

Lambert is unmoved by such speculation, and is adamant the 22-year-old will remain at the club for the foreseeable future.

"Christian is playing very well for us and that's the main thing. It doesn't concern me who he is linked with and who he is not linked with," Lambert told reporters ahead of Saturday's trip to Arsenal.
