Simeone hoping to coach Inter

Atletico Madrid's Diego Simeone has revealed his desire to return to former club Inter Milan as coach.
The Argentine is making a name for himself in charge of Atletico, who are second in La Liga, but it would appear he is already thinking about his future away from the Vicente Calderon.

Simone enjoyed a successful few years with Inter as a player from 1996 to 1999, and has now set his sights on managing at San Siro.

"Sooner or later, one day, I will be the coach of Inter," the 42-year-old told Sky Sport Italia.

"I left many positive memories as a player at Sevilla, Lazio and Inter. This makes me believe that some day I could also be coach of these teams.

Klopp tips Frankfurt to maintain form

Borussia Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp is not expecting Bundesliga surprise package Eintracht Frankfurt to fall away any time soon.
Dortmund host Frankfurt on Saturday, and Klopp believes his team will face a tough challenge from an opponent unexpectedly sitting fourth in their first season back in the top flight.

"Frankfurt's game works very well. They are physically strong and play strongly," Klopp said.

"They've got (Pirmin) Schwegler and (Sebastian) Rode in midfield, and Alex Meier in the best form of his career, and they've got (striker, Srdjan) Lakic as well. The central defence is good and the wingbacks are strong.

Liverpool face an uphill task after losing 2-0 to Zenit St Petersburg in the first leg of their Europa League last 32 tie.

Second-half goals from Hulk and Sergei Semak represented a harsh lesson for Liverpool after Luis Suarez had missed a host of chances at the other end.

The game was a lively one full of chances from the start with Aleksandr Kerzhakov forcing Pepe Reina into a smart save and Suarez seeing a chance go wide inside the first two minutes.

In the fifth minute Reina pulled out another fine stop to deny the marauding Hulk who was a regular menace to the visitors with his ability to cut in from the right flank.

Etherington eyes Stoke history
Matthew Etherington said Stoke City can record the club's highest Premier League finish by gate crashing the top-10.
The Britannia Stadium side have firmly established themselves as a top-flight side after four consecutive years in England's highest division but, as of yet, they have failed to finish in the top half of the table.

Etherington insists the current crop are more than capable of reaching that landmark, suggesting that a total of 45 to 50 points could be enough for Tony Pulis' men to make history.

Racist footage shatters Shittu
Millwall captain Danny Shittu said he is saddened by evidence of racism from his club's supporters directed at Leeds forward El-Hadji Diouf.
Footage of the incident during the two sides' meeting on November 18 was recently shown on Sky Sports News, and Shittu said he was disappointed by the actions of the fans, despite the fact Diouf himself remained unaffected by it.

"I asked him because there was word flying around that it could have happened," Shittu told reporters.
