Gallas gives Spurs winning edge William Gallas believes his winning mentality has helped change the culture of underachievement at Tottenham.
Gallas was a controversial arrival at White Hart Lane in the summer of 2010, having played for Spurs' north London rivals Arsenal as well as Chelsea.
But the Frenchman, who won two Premier League titles and a League Cup at Stamford Bridge, believes his uncompromising hunger for success has rubbed off on his team-mates.
"Maybe I have tried (to change the mentality). I played for Chelsea from 2001 until 2006 and I won some trophies there, so I know what you have to do," he told the London Evening Standard.
"The players here have the right mentality now because they want to win every game.

Bojan sorrow for struggling Villa AC Milan forward Bojan said he feels for former team-mate David Villa due to the Spain international's first-team struggles at Barcelona.
The 22-year-old, now at Milan on loan from Roma, had found himself frozen out at the Catalan giants and is in his second season in Italy with the Rossoneri.
And the forward said he can relate to how Barca striker Villa must be feeling with the 31-year-old struggling to play regularly having been hampered by injury.
"I fully understand what is happening to Villa. He was used to being the reference point for his team, always scoring the goals, but this is difficult for him, he has to adapt to another position because he is next to the best player in the world," Bojan told RAC1.

Bedoya remains with Helsingborg US international midfielder Alejandro Bedoya will be staying on at Helsingborg after signing a new short-term contract until this summer.
The Swedish club announced on its official website that Bedoya would remain until mid-2013, after joining from Rangers in August
Bedoya completed his initial short-term contract with Helsingborg in the winter, and has scored three goals in 17 games.
The 25-year-old, who participated in the US national team January training camp and entered the USA's 0-0 draw with Canada on January 29 as a second-half substitute, had been training with Helsingborg during its pre-season camp in Portugal and played in a friendly earlier this week.

Guzan tips Villa strikers to fire Aston Villa goalkeeper Brad Guzan is backing the club's attacking talent to keep them in the Premier League.
Summer signing Christian Benteke has been a revelation for the relegation-threatened side, scoring 11 times - nearly half of the Villans' 25 goals in the division.
Villa secured their first victory since mid-December against West Ham last time out, with Benteke and Charles N'Zogbia scoring, and Guzan believes the club have enough firepower up top to stay in the league.
"There are quite a few lads who can really smash a ball," he told the club's official website.

Coloccini refuses to commit to Newcastle Fabricio Coloccini admitted he is unsure of his future beyond the summer as speculation continues to mount he will look to leave Newcastle.
Coloccini has been a key figure in the Magpies' revival since suffering relegation to the Championship in 2009, and was named club captain at the beginning of last season.
But in January, with Newcastle becoming embroiled in a relegation battle, the Argentine stunned his employers by asking permission to leave and return to his homeland, with San Lorenzo interested in acquiring him.
No agreement could be reached between the clubs and Coloccini was persuaded to remain until the summer following lengthy talks, but he has revealed he is thinking no further than that.

Rekik ready for Rovers stint Manchester City defender Karim Rekik is on the verge of joining Blackburn Rovers on loan until the end of the season.
The 18-year-old's representative met with officials from the Championship club on Thursday morning in order to finalise the temporary move.
Rekik, a Netherlands Under-19 international, was loaned out to Portsmouth last season and has make just one Premier League appearance this term - City's 1-0 victory over Reading on December 22.
"Happy to say that I'm going on loan to Blackburn Rovers and be part of the team," Rekik posted on Twitter.
"Hope to win many games and learn for my future at Man City."
