Lloris relishing Lyon meeting
Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris says his side's Europa League last-32 clash with Lyon is a fixture worthy of the Champions League.
Spurs travel to France on Thursday evening for the second leg of the tie, holding a 2-1 aggregate lead thanks to Gareth Bale's double at White Hart Lane last week.
And the Frenchman described the upcoming encounter against the Stade Gerland outfit as a 'good test' for the north London club.
"It could almost be a Champions League game between two top sides in Europe," Lloris said.
"For us, it's a good test to play against a good team."
The France international also insisted that, while he still holds his former club in high regard, he is focuse

Loew jumps to Schweinsteiger defence
Germany coach Joachim Loew has defended midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger after the Bayern Munich star came in for criticism in the media.
Gunter Netzer, who won the 1974 World Cup with Germany, had suggested that Borussia Dortmund's Ilkay Gundogan would soon displace the 28-year-old in the team after impressing in the recent 2-1 win over France.
However, the former Stuttgart boss feels the player is still a valuable part of the squad due to his experience and class.
"Schweinsteiger is very experienced internationally, he has a great aura and presence on the pitch," the 53-year-old told FAZ.
"He has outstanding abilities, can read the game well and set the rhythm. He displays it at Bayern Munich an

Mancini: I´m the best manager in England
Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini has responded to speculation over his future by declaring himself the best manager in England.
City have mustered a disappointing defence of their Premier League crown this term, and find themselves 12 points adrift of rivals Manchester United at the summit.
But after his side sealed passage to the quarter-finals of the FA Cup with a 4-0 win over Leeds on Sunday, the Italian insisted his recent managerial record is unmatched.
"In the last 15 months I am the best manager in England," he said.
"Someone says for six months that Manchester City would change manager, (Pep) Guardiola would come in, and after Guardiola went to Bayern Munich, now another manager.

Kaka keen for more game time at Madrid
Kaka has stressed his desire to be playing more football for Real Madrid.
The midfielder started for the club in their 2-0 La Liga win over Rayo Vallecano on Sunday, but appearances under Jose Mourinho have been sparse and intermittent, with the likes of Sami Khedira, Luka Modric and Xabi Alonso preferred to the Brazilian.
"I'm happy for the win and I feel lighter," Kaka told reporters after the game. "That is down to the work (I’ve put in).
"I get to do things on the field that I would not have done before. I do what I have to do and the coach decides (who plays).
"I'd like to play more and have more minutes but I respect the decisions of the coach.

Rose loving life at Sunderland
Danny Rose has hinted at his desire to make his loan move from Tottenham to Sunderland permanent.
The left-back struggled to earn a place in Spurs' first-team after moving to White Hart Lane as a 17-year-old from Leeds for one million pounds in 2007.
Rose has already surpassed the total number of league appearances he has made for Tottenham with Sunderland this season and has established himself as a firm favourite among Black Cats supporters.
"I feel as if I can't do much wrong here," Rose said.
"It feels like home. When my mum and dad come here everyone at the stadium knows their names and they make them feel really welcome.
"Whenever I go anywhere, the fans go out

Vorm slams Swansea after defeat
Michel Vorm has labelled Swansea's performance in their 5-0 loss to Liverpool a 'disgrace' and offered an apology to the club's supporters.
Michael Laudrup elected to rest several players for the Premier League trip to Anfield ahead of Sunday's League Cup final but Vorm says their display was not worthy of the Reds' stadium.
Steven Gerrard scored a penalty in the first half to give Liverpool the lead before Philippe Coutinho, Jose Enrique, Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge all found the target after the break.
"We owe the fans an apology because they travel all that way and we play like that - it's a disgrace," Vorm told reporters.
"I've played a lot of games in my career already but this is

Gera praises manager Clarke
Zoltan Gera believes the trust manager Steve Clarke shows in the West Brom squad is behind their push for European qualification this season.
The Hungary international, who has been sidelined for the remainder of the season with a knee injury, says the former Chelsea assistant manager is exceeding expectations since replacing Roy Hodgson last summer with the club sitting ninth in the Premier League.
"I think he has a very good future and the one thing he never does is panic. Some managers do but he always trusts in the players, which is good," Gera said.
"He says the right things in the dressing room before kick-off, at half-time and after matches."
The 33-year-old has played for West Brom in both
