Berlusconi wants Milan to play tight on Messi
AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi believes that Barcelona star Lionel Messi should be man-marked in their Champions League clash.
The former Prime Minister of Italy has emphasised that he will not be telling Massimiliano Allegri how to set up the team, and is aware of the task at hand for the last-16 encounter on Wednesday.
"It will be very difficult to beat Barcelona," he told RTL 102.5.
"I still haven't found the time to talk to boss Allegri, but I won't tell him what side to pick - I've never done that.
"I know the role of the president and that of the coach - I respect those - but a president has the right to give advice to his coach.

Falcao: Footballers unaffected by crisis
Atletico Madrid striker Radamel Falcao believes that footballers 'live in a bubble' when it comes to the problems many people face in Spain.
The country has been hit hard by the economic crisis sweeping across Europe in recent years, but the Colombian has acknowledged that players have it easy.
"Clearly the economic situation in the country is not easy," the 27-year-old told El Mundo.
"A footballer always lives in a bubble, because when such things come along they are not affected by the crisis, but I do know how things are because otherwise I would not be living in this world.
"I have the privilege of having a job and that, today, is something that I value greatly."

Stekelenburg feeling confident at Roma
Maarten Stekelenburg was delighted with his performance during Roma's 1-0 win over Juventus in Serie A on Saturday.
The Dutch goalkeeper had been frozen out at the Stadio Olimpico, but returned to the fold after the sacking of Zdenek Zeman, and is feeling confident enough to deal with any challenge.
"It was great to win at Juventus. After I saved a free kick from (Andrea) Pirlo and caught a few high crosses, I felt as though they would never get the ball into my goal. That's how strong I felt," he told De Telegraaf.
"After (Francesco) Totti scored that fantastic goal, I knew it all came together for the team and for me. We could really use this after a difficult period.

Allardyce wants England to be more selfish
West Ham boss Sam Allardyce has called for English clubs to be 'more selfish' and prioritise developing homegrown players.
The 58-year-old believes the chances for domestic talent to flourish are being taken by foreign youngsters, a situation which he insists is detrimental to the national team.
"Eventually the England side will be very poor because there are not enough players from which to choose," the former Newcastle and Blackburn manager said.
"We have to think British more, and be more selfish. Far too many are brought to Britain from abroad to take up academy places in this country.
"We say that we have to be fair to all. But if you go to Spain or Italy or Holland, you don't see that fairne

Ince confirmed as new Blackpool boss
Blackpool have officially confirmed the appointment of Paul Ince as their new manager on a one-year rolling contract.
The 45-year-old, who had been out of work since being sacked by Notts County in 2010, has previously enjoyed successful spells in charge at Macclesfield Town and MK Dons.
The former England international will join his son, Tom, at the Championship club and has expressed excitement having taken his first training session on Monday.
"It's great to be here," he told the club's official website. "Considering I've watched the team play for the last 14 months, it's strange sitting here as the manager, having obviously watched Blackpool as a fan as well as watching my son play.
