Vilanova disappointed in Guardiola Barcelona head coach Tito Vilanova has denied Pep Guardiola's claims the Catalan club's chiefs used his illness against the former boss.
Guardiola, now in charge at Bayern Munich, claimed recently that powerbrokers at the La Liga champions used Vilanova's battle with cancer to 'damage' him.
But Vilanova has rebuffed Guardiola's argument, stating the club only had good intentions during his leave of absence to get treatment.
"I don't think anyone from the board of directors used my illness to attack him and both my family and I are very pleased with the club's attitude towards me," Vilanova said on Tuesday.

Rooney United future in fresh doubt Wayne Rooney's future at Manchester United remains clouded in uncertainty as he reportedly considers his position at the club.

Mourinho: I convinced Lampard to stay Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho's most important decision in his new tenure came before he was even appointed, the Portuguese boss has revealed.

Leonardo leaves PSG Paris Saint-Germain have announced that technical director Leonardo has left the club with immediate effect.
The Brazilian had previously announced his departure from the Ligue 1 champions after being handed a lengthy ban for allegedly pushing a referee, but had decided to stay until the end of the transfer window.
