Ramos pleased with Real display
Sergio Ramos feels Real Madrid have reasons to be optimistic following their 1-1 Champions League draw against Manchester United on Wednesday.
Even though Real had to settle for a draw in the first leg of their round-of-16 tie at the Santiago Bernabeu, Ramos was pleased with their display, and stressed that they can still make it to the next round.
"We would have liked to be going to Old Trafford with a different result but we have to be optimistic and appreciate the great game Real Madrid played today even in spite of the fact that we missed a lot of chances," the defender told UEFA.com.
"On some days, clear opportunities just don't translate into goals but every player put in a huge effort.
