Brendan Rodgers has confirmed that the January signing will return from injury this weekend, while Philippe Coutinho could make his first start for the Anfield club.
Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has confirmed that Daniel Sturridge is set to return from injury against Swansea on Sunday.
The England international missed Monday's defeat against West Brom due to a hip injury and was cup-tied to Chelsea for Thursday's UEFA Europa League trip to Zenit.
"Daniel has come in and made a terrific impact. He's been great, and he'll be fit for the weekend," Rodgers told reporters.
Fellow January signing Philippe Coutinho, who made his Reds debut from the bench in the 2-0 loss at Anfield on Monday, could be in line to make his first start for the visit

Lennon to launch UEFA enquiry
Celtic manager Neil Lennon said the club have enquired to UEFA about the refereeing in Tuesday's Champions League defeat to Juventus.
Lennon felt that the Italian champions should have conceded at least one penalty to his side for heavy-handed defending at set-pieces on their way to a 3-0 win at Parkhead and said the club will send the European governing body a 'highlights' package of referee Alberto Undiano's supposed mistakes to demonstrate their feeling of injustice.
"We will compile a DVD, send it to UEFA and see what kind of answers we get," Lennon told reporters.
"You don't see our players doing that. There were pictures of the shirt coming off Gary Hooper's back; credit to him for keeping his cool.

Fulham can finish strongly, says Duff
Fulham midfielder Damien Duff is hoping the club can stick with tradition and finish the Premier League season strongly.
The Cottagers have struggled for consistency this term; with a blistering start of just three losses in their opening 11 fixtures was undermined by just three wins from the following 15 league outings.
And Duff is keen to call on momentum from previous campaigns and finish the term in as respective a position as possible.
"We got off to a great start but then had that mid-season where we struggled to pick up points, which was very disappointing," he told the club's official website.
"Over the past couple of years we've usually started slow and finished strong.

Conte cautious of Juve squad fatigue
Antonio Conte is anxious over the fitness of his Juventus squad ahead of their Serie A clash with Roma on Saturday.
The Bianconeri have already faced Fiorentina in the league and Celtic in the Champions League in the past week, and Conte admitted he is concerned that his players may be suffering with fatigue due to the hectic schedule.
"The players are in good shape, I'll just have to see if anyone needs a rest," he told a press conference on Friday.
"The idea is to, more or less, go with the side that has done well in these past two games. But I do fear tiredness – that's why I would have preferred to have had the match scheduled for Sunday."
Although Juventus are eight places and 21 points clear of Roma, Conte has warn

Mancini adamant City still in title race
Roberto Mancini has rejected suggestions Manchester City could dispense with him, insisting such critics 'don't understand football'.
The Italian argued his side can still win silverware this season, noting that 'three or four games can change everything' as they seek to close a 12-point gap on Manchester United in the Premier League.
Speaking to the press ahead of Sunday's FA Cup fifth-round tie with Leeds United, Mancini declared: "We started our project three years ago. In three years we are always on the top, we fight for the title, we won three trophies, we have the chance to win more this year.
"All the people who talk about this don't understand football. If Manchester City should sack me, the other 20 teams in the Prem

Xavi under injury cloud for Milan date
Barcelona assistant coach Jordi Roura has revealed Xavi remains in doubt for the Champions League last-16 first leg against AC Milan.
The Spain star suffered a torn hamstring in the 1-1 La Liga draw with Valencia earlier in February, and has not been named in the squad to face Granada on Saturday.
Roura revealed the 33-year-old took part in training on Friday, but they would have to wait and see whether he would be fit for the clash with the Rossoneri.
"Xavi ready for Milan? He rejoined training, did almost all the exercises, but we have to wait and see a few days to see how he reacts," Roura told a press conference.
Roura added David Villa is not fully fit following his renal colic problems this week, though
