Swansea manager Michael Laudrup said winning the Capital One Cup with the Welsh club is 'absolutely at the top' of his achievements.

In a one-sided affair on Sunday, Swansea demolished League Two club Bradford City 5-0 to win the first major trophy in their 101-year history.

As a player, Laudrup won league titles in Spain, Italy and the Netherlands in a much-vaunted career that included spells with Juventus, Barcelona, Real Madrid and Ajax Amsterdam, but the former attacking midfielder took special pride in Swansea's win at Wembley.

"I'm very proud of my team today, I think it was a great performance," Laudrup said.

"As a player I had the luck to play in the biggest teams in different countries. 

Borussia Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp spoke out against Borussia Moenchengladbach's defence following the two sides' 1-1 Bundesliga draw.

Dortmund have won just one of their last seven trips to 'Gladbach and Klopp said his side could have ended up losing but were still upset with the result.

"Gladbach hurt us every year and did so again today, although they defended unpleasantly," he told reporters.

"We were initially dominant but our grip on the match began to lessen and Gladbach then emerged. There are worse things than a draw here, but we are not very happy.

Jelena Jankovic has ended her long wait for a WTA Tour title with a crushing win in the Copa Claro Colsanitas final on Sunday.

The Serbian top seed took just 74 minutes to thump Argentine Paula Ormaechea 6-1 6-2 in the final in Bogota, Colombia.

Jankovic's victory gave her a 13th WTA Tour title and first since March 2010, when she clinched the crown at Indian Wells on hard court.

She had lost five straight finals since then, but the WTA International tournament on outdoor clay courts gave her the perfect opportunity to break the drought.

Frenchwoman Alize Cornet was the only other player in the draw ranked inside the top 50, and the second seed exited in the second round.

Swansea forward Nathan Dyer was disappointed not to score a hat-trick in his team's 5-0 League Cup final win over Bradford City on Sunday.

After scoring a goal either side of half-time, Dyer had the opportunity to secure the match ball, but Jonathan de Guzman declined to pass on the penalty-taking duties and went on to calmly convert from the spot.

When asked what it was like to score twice in the final, Dyer told Sky Sports: "It was brilliant. I haven't scored for a while so to get two goals today, obviously I wanted the hat-trick with the penalty.

"Obviously, I had to score on a historical moment like this and I thought I should have gotten the ball but it wasn't meant to be and I passed it on and that's the way it went."

Celtic continue to cruise towards the Scottish Premier League title, moving 21 points clear with a 5-0 thrashing of Dundee on Sunday.

A double from Joe Ledley along with goals from James Forrest, Dylan McGeouch and Gary Hooper saw Neil Lennon's side to the big win at Celtic Park.

It marked the worst possible start for Dundee interim manager John Brown, an unpopular appointment.

A Gary Harkins free-kick which beat Fraser Forster at his near post appeared to give Dundee a surprise fifth-minute lead, but it was strangely ruled out for offside.

Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen were both held to draws in the Bundesliga on Sunday.

The two sides – placed second and third respectively – slipped further out of contention in the title race, which is led comprehensively by table-toppers Bayern Munich, who are now 17 points clear of Dortmund.

Dortmund's match at Borussia Moenchengladbach ended in a 1-1 draw.

The visitors – who were without top scorer Robert Lewandowski – made a bright start with Kevin Grosskeutz going close to opening the scoring.

Moritz Leitner also had a good effort, which forced Moenchengladbach goalkeeper Marco-Andre ter Stegen into a smart save.

Newcastle manager Alan Pardew believes Moussa Sissoko is a better attacking partner for Papiss Cisse than Demba Ba.

Ba moved to Chelsea for 8.7 million euros in January after netting 13 goals in 20 games for the English Premier League club.

Speaking after his side's important 4-2 win over Southampton on Sunday, Pardew said his attack had more balance with the former Toulouse man.
