Marseille sit just five points and two places off Carlo Ancelotti's team as the title race begins to heat up.

However, assistant coach Roura feels the players deserve considerable credit for their accomplishments in recent seasons, and believes they will bounce back swiftly from this disappointment.

The 25-year-old picked up a hamstring injury during the 2-1 win over Sunderland on November 10 but has since returned to action and featured in six consecutive games for the Toffees, and Moyes believes this is now a chance for the newcomer to finally show his true potential.
