Britton: Silverware would be fitting reward
Swansea midfielder Leon Britton believes a victory in the Capital One Cup final over Bradford City would be the perfect reward for the club.
The Swans beat Chelsea in the semi-finals of the competition to book their chance of glory next Sunday, although the 30-year-old midfielder remembers when the Welsh side were going through more difficult times.
Britton reveals the players used to have to train on beaches and in gardens and was too embarrassed to tell manager Michael Laudrup he won the LDV Vans Trophy in 2006 - but said a win at Wembley would make it all worth it.
"The LDV Vans Trophy in 2006 was a massive, massive game for Swansea at the time," he told reporters.

Joaquin accuses UEFA of scapegoating Malaga
Joaquin has slammed UEFA's sanctions against Malaga, claiming they would not issue the same punishments to the top sides in Europe.
The La Liga club are currently appealing a suspension handed down by Europe's governing body - which bans them from one year of continental competition - after they were accused of 'significant overdue payables', thought to be player wages, staff wages and transfer fees.
But the Malaga attacker believes the sanctions are too harsh, and claims his side are being used as 'scapegoats' as Financial Fair Play regulations begin to come in to effect across the game.
"UEFA have picked us out to be a scapegoat, to make an example of. We are paying for the mistakes of others," he told RNE.

FA Cup: Chelsea 4 Brentford 0
Chelsea proved too strong for Brentford as they cruised into the FA Cup fifth round with a 4-0 victory at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
After a goalless first half, Juan Mata broke the deadlock before Oscar and Frank Lampard hit a one-two punch midway through the second period and John Terry wrapped it up.
The skipper had been recalled to the starting XI after injury while Victor Moses returned to the fold following his Africa Cup of Nations triumph. Fernando Torres' replay-earning strike at Griffin Park did not stop him being dropped for Demba Ba while Harry Forrester was unexpectedly benched by Brentford.
The game began evenly and the visitors, far from overawed, had chances early on, w

Robbie Rogers, a former midfielder for the United States national soccer team, came out as gay through a post on his personal blog. Rogers, who is just 25, and had most recently played for Stevenage, a third-division English team, also suggested he may retire to "discover myself away from soccer."
Though Rogers received support from fellow athletes — such as Eddie Pope, a former United States defender, who wrote on Twitter, "Brave men like you will make it so that one day there is no need for an announcement" — as well as from his own family (his younger brother, Timothy, said in a brief telephone interview, "I know we are all very p

Moratti hails ´dangerous´ Jovetic
Massimo Moratti has revealed his admiration for Stevan Jovetic and warned of his quality ahead of Inter's game with Fiorentina on Sunday.
Jovetic has scored only one league goal in 2013, in the same period which has seen the Viola win only one of their previous six games and slip to sixth in Serie A.
However, Moratti was quick to underline the ability of the Montenegrin forward and his team in an interview with Brivido Sportivo, a Fiorentina fans' magazine.
"I love him and, even if he is not going through a good time, he is very dangerous," the 67-year-old Italian said.
"Fiorentina is only in a relatively poor spell at the moment because they are actually not playing badly."

Redknapp sets 37-point target for QPR
Harry Redknapp believes Queens Park Rangers need at least 37 points to stay in the Premier League.
QPR are rooted to the bottom of the table with just two wins all season, and are seven points adrift of safety having taken just 17 from 26 games.
However, the former Tottenham boss thinks a good run of form is just around the corner for his team, and has set his sights on a target which he feels the club can battle towards to remain in the top flight.
Redknapp has set 20 points from their remaining 12 games as the target for the struggling west Londoners.
"If someone offered me 37 points now I'd probably take my chance and think that would be enough," he told the club's official website.

Bayern must be short sighted, says Martinez
Javi Martinez believes Bayern Munich's focus should be on this season and not on Pep Guardiola's arrival in the summer.
The former Barcelona boss was announced as the Bavarians' new coach in January and will succeed Jupp Heynckes at the end of the campaign.
A great deal of attention has rested on the surprise appointment, but Martinez has raised concerns that constantly talking about Guardiola could have a detrimental effect on performances.
"Let's not talk about it much," the 24-year-old Spaniard told TZ when asked about the managerial change.
"For a week, when the agreement was made public, we talked about nothing else.
"Against Greuther Furth (a 2-0 win, and the first game after the Gu
