Australia attacker Tim Cahill has challenged his team to keep their momentum going in their World Cup qualifier against Oman on Tuesday.
Cahill has claimed the Socceroos turned a corner in October with their 2-1 win away to Iraq in their last World Cup qualifier and believes Australia cannot afford to miss out on three points when they host Oman in Sydney.

Australia started the fourth round of qualifying in the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) with two draws and a loss but moved up to second on goal difference with their win over Iraq.

Barcelona attacker David Villa says he has left his recent injury problems behind him and is feeling in top shape again after a difficult period.
The Spain international broke his leg at the Club World Cup in December 2011, and had been struggling to rediscover his old form.

Nevertheless, Villa has put in a number of impressive displays in recent weeks, and he is happy to have overcome his difficulties at last.

"Physically, I’m at my best – I've got over all those little problems that were bothering me and I'm happy to be feeling fine again," the attacker told Barca TV.

Manchester United winger Antonio Valencia says he has not reached the standards required of him this season because of injury.
The 27-year-old attacker has failed to score in 30 appearances for United and has only provided four assists in the 2012/13 season, whereas last campaign the Ecuadorian provided 14 assists for his team-mates and pitched in with four goals.

Lech's failure to win at home to GKS a day later means Legia now hold a four-point lead at the top of the standings.

Everton defender John Heitinga believes his side can finish the season strongly and qualify for Europe.
After a superb 2-0 victory over Manchester City, Everton lie in sixth place in the Premier League, two points behind Arsenal, with nine league games remaining.

Everton suffered a shock 3-0 defeat at home to lowly Wigan in the FA Cup quarter-finals, but Heitinga is confident that the squad has the ability to finish in the European places come the end of the season.

"The way I see it now is that we have to play nine finals," Heitinga told the Liverpool Echo.

Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho has hinted that he would like to return to Serie A club Inter.
The Portuguese has been linked with a move away from the Santiago Bernabeu this year, with Paris Saint-Germain rumoured to be interested in his services.
