Juventus will be visiting Naples to take on Napoli in what should be an enthralling Serie A clash on Friday night. The Turin based side will know that if they can seize victory on that day, the Serie A title will be edging closer towards them.
Both sides are currently battling it out for the ultimate Italian crown but Juve have a six points gap between them and Napoli. Last time out, Juventus seized an impeccable 3-0 win over Siena, but Nicolas Anelka is expected to return to the bench for this one. The form of Paul Pogba has been very encouraging in recent weeks as well and he will push for a start once again.
As for Napoli, they have struggled for form in recent games, being winless in their last five. Edinson Cavani has looked jaded of late as well, which is definitely a contributing factor to their lacklustre performance in last week's draw against Udinese. However, the same team is expected to be retained for this match, with probably Rolando coming in to beef up the team.
The pressure will be on Napoli for two reasons, once of which is playing at home. Besides that, they are playing the catch up game now, meaning that it's either do or die for them. If Juventus win, they will go nine points clear off them, which could prove to be too much of an ask in the long run. Nevertheless, Walter Mazzari's men will be aiming for nothing other than a victory.
This match will be ultimately won on the offensive department. Games like this only need one moment of brilliance from players from either side to change the game. However, I still see this one going Juventus' way, considering their imperious form of late.
