Aston Villa youngster Ashley Westwood has hailed Charles N'Zogbia's recent performances as the club continue to fight against relegation.
The Frenchman has failed to replicate his form for Wigan which prompted the Villa Park outfit to part with nine million pounds to sign the winger in 2011.
However, a goal and an assist from N'Zogbia in the recent 2-1 win over West Ham pushed Villa out of the Premier League relegation zone, and Westwood has backed the winger to continue to shine for the rest of the season.
"I have been really impressed with Charles," Westwood said.
"You just give him the ball and even if he's got four men around him, you know he's going to do something.
"He has a special talent. He glides across the turf and bursts past people as if they're not there.
"It's something I wish I could do. He does it with ease. It's great to have him. He's been superb these past few weeks and long may that form continue."
And Westwood believes N'Zogbia's renewed enthusiasm is rubbing off on the younger members of the squad.
"It's easy for me playing with him," added Westwood. "You see Charles in the hole in front of you and he demands the ball, he wants the ball.
"Even when he has men around him, you give it to him and you know he will keep it.
"His impact has been superb. He's been a big player for us and he will be a big player for us between now and the end of the season."
