Pardew discusses Benfica with Lennon Newcastle manager Alan Pardew has consulted Celtic manager Neil Lennon ahead of the Europa League tie with Benfica.
The Bhoys faced the Portuguese giants twice in the Champions League group stages, drawing 0-0 at Parkhead and losing 2-1 away, and the Magpies coach said he would seek advice from wherever he can get it.

Blood clot sidelines Robinson Blackburn Rovers goalkeeper Paul Robinson has been ruled out of action for six months after a blood clot was found in his lung.
The 41-cap England international was diagnosed with a pulmonary embolism after developing respiratory problems following a back operation, the Championship club has confirmed.
Robinson is now at home, having spent the weekend being monitored in hospital, but is likely to miss the start of next season.
Blackburn have been dealt a further blow between the sticks with the news that goalkeeper Jake Kean has also been ruled out for the rest of the season.

Sidwell loses ban appeal Fulham midfielder Steve Sidwell will serve a three-match ban after his appeal against the red card he received against QPR was rejected.
The 30-year-old was sent off by referee Lee Probert in the 79th minute of his side's 3-2 victory in the west London derby on Monday for a late challenge on Armand Traore.
And that decision has been upheld by an Independent Regulatory Commission, who revealed their findings on Wednesday.
Sidwell will now miss the upcoming trips to Aston Villa and Newcastle before serving the final match of his sanction in another derby clash with Chelsea.

Ferguson weighs up attacking options Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson says he faces a difficult task in selecting his team for the derby against Manchester City.

Serie A: Sampdoria 0:2 Inter Milan A brace from Rodrigo Palacio helped Inter Milan record an impressive 2-0 win over Sampdoria at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris on Wednesday.
The visitors opened the scoring just before half-time in the Serie A clash, Palacio heading past Sergio Romero before adding a second late on to secure a vital three points.
Inter started brightly and could have taken the initiative in the opening few minutes, but Romero got down quickly to push the ball away from Palacio after the Argentine had beaten the offside trap and looked to round the Sampdoria goalkeeper before firing over.
