Manchester United's Danny Welbeck snuck ahead of Ramos to score a vital away goal in last week's 1-1 Champions League draw in Madrid, with Mourinho later accusing his players of being guilty of losing 'individual duels' in the match.

But Ramos has complete confidence in his own ability.

"My education and my style has never been noted," the 26-year-old told mundodeprotivo.com.

"I keep my opinions to myself, I've always said that everyone is free to think what you like. My education and my style has never been noted unless we make mistakes."

The 26-year-old, who has 18 months left to run on his current deal, has struggled to assert himself in the first team this season after a number of niggling injuries but his boss is keen for him to remain at the club for the foreseeable.

"We want to keep him, there's no doubt about that," Sir Alex told the club's official website.

"He's capable of scoring incredible goals. His goal against Everton, when he dinked the keeper after playing a couple of one-twos, was incredible. And the goal against Tottenham the year before, where he dinked the goalkeeper after playing a one-two, was another one.

The reigning champions (55 points) are currently four points clear in first position ahead of second-placed Napoli and should still find themselves at least four points clear of the pack after the weekend.

The league-leaders play host to relegation-threatened Siena at Juventus Stadium in what seemingly should be a routine win.

By contrast, Spurs have not lost a league match in 10, with their last defeat coming when they were denied by two very late goals away to Everton.

Andre Villas-Boas' men have plenty to play for in their final 12 matches of the season, as they sit fourth on 48 points - occupying a Champions League qualifying spot as it stands.

Roberto Mancini's side could feasibly be looking over their shoulder at the third-placed Blues - who trail City by four points - rather than skywards towards runaway leaders Manchester United, who are 12 points clear at the top.

Winless in three in the league, City need victory over Rafa Benitez's side at Etihad Stadium to build some sort of momentum in an unlikely bid to catch their cross-town rivals, who travel to last-placed QPR. 

The Reds have been without a head coach since John Kosmina resigned in late January.

The resignation stunned Adelaide who are on the verge of their first finals appearance since 2010-11 and left them to promote Kosmina's right-hand man and youth team manager Valkanis at the 11th hour.
