FA Cup Final : Man City v Wigan
Manchester City will look to win their third trophy in as many years when they battle Wigan in Saturday's FA Cup Final at Wembley.
The Etihad Stadium outfit broke a 35-year trophy drought with victory over Stoke City in the 2011 FA Cup Final, which they followed up with a dramatic final-day Premier League title win last season.

And while City have stagnated in the league in 2012-13, another success would still represent a decent year for Roberto Mancini's side.

Manchester City's run to this season's final has seen them concede just one goal in five matches, with the club barely raising a sweat in easy home wins against Championship sides Watford, Leeds United and Barnsley.

Barca on brink of another title
la liga
Barcelona can confirm their second consecutive La Liga title in Madrid if they win at Atletico on Sunday.
The Catalan club are unbeaten in the league since their 2-1 defeat at Real Madrid in March and have built an eight-point lead over their rivals.

With Real having just three games remaining, compared to Barca's four, a victory at the Vincente Calderon will give them an unassailable lead, irrelevant of the result of Real's trip to Espanyol.

Lionel Messi, who has been struggling with a hamstring injury since the beginning of April and looked on from as a substitute as his side crashed out of the UEFA Champions League to Bayern Munich, came off the bench on Sunday to help secure ... Read more »

Ligue 1 : Lyon - PSG
Paris Saint-Germain can finally be crowned Ligue 1 champions if they are victorious against Lyon at Stade de Gerland on Sunday.
Carlo Ancelotti's side have not been afforded an easy ride by second-placed Marseille this season but can clinch the title with three points away from home.

PSG will be without captain Thiago Silva for the game as the Brazilian defender has been given a two-match ban for pushing the referee during Sunday's 1-1 draw with Valenciennes.

Sporting director Leonardo has been slapped with an indefinite ban following a further offence on the same official, and PSG could even have points deducted.

After the game, Leonardo told re ... Read more »

David Moyes will be a success at Manchester United, according to many famous voices in the football world.
Moyes, the current Everton boss, will take over from Alex Ferguson at the end of the season, after the 71-year-old announced his retirement on Wednesday.

Ferguson will never be emulated
premier leagueFormer Manchester United utility man Clayton Blackmore has claimed that Alex Ferguson's achievements will "never be done again".
The Premier League champions announced on Wednesday that the 71-year-old would retire at the end of the season, bringing a 27-year trophy-laden spell at the helm to an end.

And Blackmore, who was brought into the team by Ferguson before going on to make 251 appearances for United, says the Scot will not be equalled.

"It was a big shock for me, you knew it was going to happen one day but I didn't see it coming, I'd heard a rumour but I think it's a shock when it happens when the manager's been in the job for 27 years, you just expect him to be th ... Read more »
