Etherington praises Pulis´ work at Stoke Stoke City winger Matthew Etherington believes Tony Pulis can be proud of the work he has done at the club.
Pulis left the Britannia Stadium on Tuesday following a seven-year stint and Etherington praised the Welshman for guiding the club to the Premier League and then consolidating.
"If you look at where Stoke were when he irst came in - mid-table in the Championship - you can't argue he's done a fantastic job," Etherington told talkSPORT.
"He's a great man, a fantastic man. He's done a lot for me personally, a lot for the football club and for the people of Stoke-on-Trent as well."

Fulham sign Boateng Fulham have announced the signing of Ghana international midfielder Derek Boateng on a free transfer.
The 30-year-old, who has 47 caps for his country, joins Martin Jol's side after leaving Dnipro, having previously played for Spanish side Getafe.
After the club received international clearance for Boateng, Fulham's newest recruit revealed his delight at joining the club and said he would give everything while he was there.
"I'm very happy that I have signed and I want to thank the chairman, the manager and the board at Fulham football club," he told the club's official website.

Cole set for West Ham departure Carlton Cole will leave West Ham after the club decided not to renew the striker's contract.
The 29-year-old has spent seven seasons at Upton Park, scoring 59 goals in 237 appearances since joining from London rivals Chelsea.

Lampard: It was tough under Benitez Frank Lampard has admitted that Rafael Benitez's tenure at Chelsea was difficult for everyone at the club.
Benitez struggled to gain acceptance from the Chelsea fans when he was appointed interim manager by Roman Abramovich in November.

Carroll out of England squad Liverpool striker Andy Carroll has withdrawn from the England squad for their upcoming friendlies due to a heel injury.
The 24-year-old will miss England's clashes against the Republic of Ireland and Brazil, which will be played on May 29 and June 2 respectively.
In a statement confirming Carroll's withdrawal, the English FA said manager Roy Hodgson was not planning to call up a replacement.
"Andy Carroll has been ruled out of the England squad for the upcoming internationals with Republic of Ireland and Brazil," the statement read.
