Tito Vilanova paid tribute to his Barcelona side after they beat Malaga to finish with a record haul of 100 points on Saturday.
The Liga champions equalled Real Madrid's points record and set their best-ever tally of 115 goals in a season with a convincing 4-1 win at Camp Nou.

David Villa, Cesc Fabregas, Martin Montoya and Andres Iniesta all scored for the hosts before Pedro Morales pulled one back for Malaga.

Vilanova says that despite missing out on the UEFA Champions League final, it has been a good season and Barca will look to do even better next term.

Bayern eager to keep Heynckes
bundesliga
Bayern Munich are hoping to keep outgoing manager Jupp Heynckes at the club in some capacity, club president Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has said.
Heynckes has led Bayern to one of their most successful seasons, winning both the Bundesliga and UEFA Champions League titles, and could yet add the DFB-Pokal crown to that list if they beat Stuttgart in the final on Saturday.

The Allianz Arena outfit will become the first-ever German side to do the treble if they overcome Bruno Labbadia's men, and Rummenigge insisted the Bavarians are looking to keep Heynckes in Munich even after Pep Guardiola steps in as manager.

"I told him (Heynckes) two weeks ago at the Bundesliga title celebration t ... Read more »

Roma fans stage training ground protest
europa league
Roma supporters have staged a protest outside the club's training ground in the wake of last week's Coppa Italia final defeat to Lazio.
Aurelio Andreazzoli's men were beaten 1-0 by their bitter city rivals on Sunday, and missed out on UEFA Europa League qualification as well as silverware as a result.

Around 200 fans subsequently gathered outside the club's Trigoria base to call for the resignation of directors Franco Baldini, Walter Sabatini and Mauro Baldissoni.

Daniele De Rossi and Pablo Daniel Osvaldo are also believed to have been targeted by the group of supporters, while one banner read: "Give us back our Roma."

Vilanova dismisses Cruyff calls
Barcelona coach Tito Vilanova says he will definitely be in charge of the team next season despite calls for him to resign.
Barca legend Johan Cruyff had told the media that Vilanova should step down and focus on his health.

The 44-year-old had a tumour removed in 2011, but suffered a relapse in December 2012 and consequently missed several months of the 2012/13 campaign to undergo treatment.

But Vilanova said he had no intention of relinquishing his post.

"Well, I don't have anything to say because I've already told you. I can say it louder but not clearer. I will be here at Barcelona next season," Vilanova said.
