![]() Paris Saint-Germain have received a boost ahead of Sunday's big clash with Marseille as Thiago Silva is set for a possible return from injury. Silva has not played since PSG's 0-0 draw with Ajaccio in January, missing seven games with a thigh injury but the capital club's medical staff have reportedly revealed the 28-year-old Brazilian is no longer feeling pain and could be ready for the visit of third-placed Marseille. Known as Le Classique, PSG versus Marseille is always a highly-anticipated match in Ligue 1 but will take on extra importance this weekend as the visitors from the south need a victory if they are to stay in touch with the leaders from Paris. The Spurs supporters were spending time in a local nightspot when a group of hooligans began throwing missiles at the windows in scenes described as "manic" by an eyewitness. Three Tottenham supporters have been taken to the hospital after a group of men wearing balaclavas attempted to smash their way into a bar in Lyon. The pub in question, the Smoking Dog, is an English-style bar in Lyon's Old Town and was, according to reports, filled with around 140 fans of the north London club. The attack, which occurred around 24 hours before Andre Villas-Boas' side meets the Ligue 1 outfit in the Europa League last 32, saw several windows broken by force and fans injured by the flying glass. Theo Benneworth, who was in the Smoking Dog pub with a group of Spurs fans when the attacks happened, told Goal.com how the violence came in two separate waves.

![]() Barcelona's fear of AC Milan brought about their 2-0 defeat in the Champions League on Wednesday, Adriano Galliani has suggested. Second-half goals from Kevin-Prince Boateng and Sulley Muntari gave the Serie A giants an unexpected home victory in the first leg of the round-of-16 tie. The AC Milan vice-president lauded his team's efficiency and heralded their improvement after a torrid start to the campaign. "We did very well and I have to say that our coach (Massimiliano Allegri) was very, very good in my opinion," Galliani told the club's website. "This evening (Wednesday) we played a perfect match. ![]() Louis Angelo Pena has had a day out as Venezuelan club Caracas triumphed 3-1 away to Chile's Huachipato in the Copa Libertadores. Caracas played very direct football throughout Wednesday's game exemplified by their 13th-minute opening goal as Pena hit a long aerial pass, which bounced over Huachipato defender Claudio Munoz to Dani Cure, who smashed the ball into the bottom corner of the net from the edge of the area. Cure set up Pena in first-half injury time to double the visitors' lead after a thu

![]() Napoli coach Walter Mazzarri has admitted he will rotate some of his players for the Europa League second leg tie with Viktoria Plzen. Pride will be at stake on Thursday after the embarrassing 3-0 first-leg loss, but the Napoli boss insists domestic success remains his side's priority. "Will I be rotating the squad? Even if we were playing Barcelona in the Champions League, decisions must take into consideration a Serie A game to be played three days later," the 51-year-old told reporters. Napoli trail Juventus by just four points, and have a genuine chance of winning their first Scudetto for 20 years and only the third in their history. Mazzarri spoke last week of his ambition to make an impact in Europ

![]() Inter Milan coach Andrea Stramaccioni insists preparations for two key matches this week will not be hindered by speculation over his future. Inter are in Romania to face Cluj on Thursday, looking to build on their 2-0 advantage from the first leg and progress to the last 16 of the Europa League. They will then face arch-rivals AC Milan on Sunday, with the Rossoneri now a point and two places above Inter in the Serie A table following their recent revival. "The good and bad thing about being coach of Inter has been that this pressure has been on me from the first day I took charge of this great team," Stramaccioni told reporters. "If a coach at this level thinks about these things, then he is finished be
