Colombian striker Luis Rey opened the scoring for Jaguares in the ninth minute before the advantage was doubled through Luis Lorona 30 minutes later.
But Guadalajara fought back, scoring a crucial goal in first-half stoppage time through Rafael Marquez Lugo.
The game heated up in the 65th minute as Marquez Lugo completed his brace and tied the scores at 2-2, with Guadalajara having all the momentum.

La Liga: Granada 1:5 Real Betis Real Betis climbed to sixth place in La Liga on Friday thanks to a 5-1 thumping of relegation battlers Granada.
Three goals in four first-half minutes - two of them from striker Ruben Castro - had the visitors cruising at Granada's Estadio Los Carmenes.
