Preview and Prediction
11.03.2013 - Zaragoza - Granada | One classic derby of the rear remained for the end of this round of the Primera and we could easily watch the merciless fight for every ball.
The teams are located just above the relegation zone ahead of this round, and Saragossa is on the 17th place with at point less than Granada which is positioned one place above. Both team had a lot of ups and downs this season, and both are in a bad period, but it lasts longer for the host, while the guests are in a series of three defeats. In the first part of the season Saragossa won Granada with 2-1, while last season the both teams won at home with 1-0. They played this season in the Cup, and again the hosts won minimally, but Saragossa was more successful because of the goal scored in the away game. Begins: 11.03.2013 – 20:30 CET
The Saragossa crisis lasts too long and they should be even pleased to not be in the relegation zone. For full nine rounds they haven’t won anyone, or more precisely from the beginning of the spring part of the season, and there are two Cup matches against Sevilla so the total figure is 11 matches without a victory. It is interesting that the last two victories were won away, so for home win Saragossa waits since mid-November. It is clear that at this point they are the weakest host in the league with just 11 points and are the only team in the league that has won more points away. Two rounds before they had Valencia on its knees because they had led of 2-0, but in the end they just drew. In the last round were defeated by Getafe with a smooth 2-0 in an away game. The biggest problem is the injury of the first goalkeeper Roberto, while the spare goalkeeper Leo Franco has been punished so Alcole from the second team defends. There will be neither the excluded stopper Loovens nor the injured Apono.
Probable lineups Zaragoza: Alcolea – Sapunaru, Alvaro Gonzales, Paredes, Abraham – Jose Mari, Movilla – Victor Rodriguez, Babovi?, Montanes – Helder Postiga
According to individual values of its players Granada ??should not be even close to the danger zone, and in the winter break they have brought in new reinforcements. It has brought them a quite successful series in which among others won even Real Madrid, and had a slight rise in the standings, but in the last three games have experienced the same number of defeats and are back to square one. It must be said that the schedule hasn’t been very favourable, because they hosted Barcelona against which they had a lead, but they did not save it. Then, in the derby of the rear lost in Vigo from Celta, and the most painful defeat took place in the previous round, again at home, and again in the derby of the back when they were defeated by Mallorca. Against Mallorca also had the lead, but it couldn’t be preserved. The defeat goal was received in the time allowance and in middle of attack series that was supposed to secure the victory. All three losses were with the same score 2-1. There was no right midfielder Nyomi because of the showed cards but now he now returns to the lineup, while Torje could play instead of Buonanotea
Probable lineups Granada: Tono – Nyom, Inigo Lopez, Mainz, Siqueira – M.Rico, Recio – Torje, Nolito – Ighalo, El-Arabi
Zaragoza – Granada
These teams have the same problems and these are home matches and inefficiency, so they have achieved and received the same number of goals. Because of the high stakes we could watch one very careful match with much greater attention paid to the defence, which means that the goal nets will not shake often.
Better's Prediction: Under 2.5
