Premier League clubs chasing Cardozo Benfica striker Oscar Cardozo is attracting interest from a number of Premier League clubs, his agent has revealed.
Reports have indicated that Manchester City could be interested in acquiring the services of the Paraguayan after opting to sell Carlos Tevez to Juventus.
Cardozo has become an integral part of the first team at the Estadio da Luz since joining from Newell's Old Boys in 2007, scoring 161 goals in 260 appearances.
However, the 30-year-old is thought to have fallen out with manager Jorge Jesus, and his representative Pedro Aldave admitted that clubs in England are monitoring his situation.
"Benfica knows the situation and now the subject is in their hands," Aldave told Sky Sports .

Giggs planning coaching future Ryan Giggs is determined to remain a pillar of success in football, as he plans a move into coaching.
The Manchester United midfielder won his 13th league title last season, and although he has no intention of retiring yet, he is starting to make plans to move into a non-playing role by studying for his UEFA Pro Licence.
If the Welshman successfully completes the 18-month-long course, the highest qualification in football, he will bone of first players to hold the award whilst still playing and he is excited about the future.

Norwich agree deal for Toivonen PSV Eindhoven director Marcel Brands has confirmed the club have reached an agreement for the sale of Ola Toivonen to Norwich.
Toivonen has been linked with a move to the Carrow Road outfit, who have already boosted their forward line with the signing of Ricky van Wolfswinkel, for much of the off-season.
The Swedish striker has remained coy on the subject, but Brands has now revealed that the two clubs have reached a deal.
"We never comment on any sums, but we have reached an agreement with Norwich for Ola," Brands told SportBladet.
"Now it's entirely up to him to decide whether he wants to move."
However, Brands stressed that he expects the 26-year-old to report for training

Kolarov could leave Manchester City Aleksandar Kolarov will seek a move away from Manchester City if new manager Manuel Pellegrini cannot guarantee him first-team football.
The Serbian defender was never a regular during Roberto Mancini's tenure, but is hopeful that under Pellegrini he will be able to move ahead of Gael Clichy in the battle for the left-back slot.

Platini happy PSG chose Blanc UEFA president Michel Platini has praised Paris Saint-Germain for appointing a French head coach with Laurent Blanc replacing Carlo Ancelotti. While PSG having reportedly chased the likes of Jose Mourinho, Arsene Wenger, Andre Villas-Boas and Michael Laudrup, the reigning Ligue 1 champions eventually installed Blanc as head coach on Tuesday, replacing Ancelotti, who has joined Real Madrid.
But Platini believes it is a good that the French league champions have a native coach and has backed Blanc, who has previously managed Bordeaux and France, to prove himself to PSG's impressive squad.

Kenwright: Martinez is raring to go Bill Kenwright has revealed Everton manager Roberto Martinez cannot wait to get started and has already identified two transfer targets.
Following the club's general meeting of shareholders on Wednesday, chairman Kenwright explained that Martinez is already targetting new signings despite not having met his new squad yet and talks have already taken place with two clubs about player availability.
